This hunt is a semi-guided hunt located in Southern Illinois. This can be on private ground or we can help you with a DIY hunt on public land in the Shawnee National Forest.
This hunt would consist of you staying in local hotels or a camping situation. We will meet up with you the day or two (pending your time) prior to your first day of scheduled hunting to show you the areas and bring you up to speed on current behavior and patterns. Again, this is NOT a guided hunt. You are acquiring permission to hunt on the private ground hunts for a predetermined amount of time. The public land hunt is DIY. Topo maps will be provided of the public land areas we point you in.
Illinois permits are on an application basis. Turkey permits begin in January, while Non-resident deer permits are made available in July. You may find out more about Illinois hunting and associated license cost by visiting http://dnr.state.il.us/
2-day/ 1-bird hunt is $400
3-day/ 1-bird hunt is $600
Illinois deer and turkey hunts are at the rate of $150 per day on private land. There are no trophy fees associated with these hunts. If you book 5 days of hunting the cost is $750. No hidden fees.
These prices do not include food, licenses or lodging.
If you are interested in a DIY Illinois Public Land hunt we will provide topos of the areas we concentrate efforts in for a one-time fee of $250. This includes meeting you in the area and providing insight about the hunting when you arrive.
